DIVINE HEALTH

For better understanding of Divine Health, we’ll first define the meaning of Health.

Definition of Health:

Health is a multifaceted concept that encompasses physical, mental, and social well-being. It’s not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete well-being.

Some key aspects of health include:

  1. Physical health: Nutrition, exercise, sleep, and disease prevention.
  2. Mental health: Emotional well-being, stress management, and mental illness support.
  3. Social health: Relationships, community connections, and social support.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.

Key Aspects of Health include:

  1. Physical health: Nutrition, exercise, sleep, and disease prevention.
  2. Mental health: Emotional well-being, stress management, and mental illness support.
  3. Social health: Relationships, community connections, and social support.

DEFINITION OF DIVINE HEALTH:

Divine health is a concept often associated with faith and spirituality. Many believe that through prayer, faith, and a connection with a higher power, individuals can experience physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

According to Bible, is for you to live in divine health—with energy and vitality, at a healthy weight, sleeping well, with a clear mind and the confidence to go along with it.

7 Keys to Divine Health:

There are varying perspectives on the seven keys to divine health, but the core principles revolve around faith, obedience, and the promises found in the Bible. Different Christian leaders have identified and taught these principles, including Kenneth Hagin, David Oyedepo, and Emmanuel AnuOluwatomiwa.

Based on their shared teachings, here are seven commonly cited keys to achieving and maintaining divine health:

1. Faith in God’s Word

A foundational principle of divine health is believing in the healing promises in God’s Word, such as Exodus 15:26, where God declaredly himself “the LORD who heals”. By having unwavering faith that God’s Word is true, you can create an atmosphere for miracles and healing to occur.

2. Confession of the Word

Speaking God’s promises aloud, or confessing them, is believed to reinforce faith and activate healing power. Biblical teachings state that life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), so consistently speaking declarations of health can align your words with God’s will and lead to healing.

3. Obedience to God’s commands

The Bible connects obedience with divine health. Exodus 23:25 states, “You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you”. A life of obedience, which also includes walking in love and repenting of sin, is seen as essential for maintaining a healthy relationship with God and receiving his blessings.

4. Prayer and fasting

Prayer is a direct channel for communicating with God, and fervent, persistent prayer invites his healing power into your life. Fasting is a way to intensify prayer and demonstrate dependence on God for divine intervention.

5. A joyful heart

A cheerful and thankful heart is considered good medicine. Proverbs 17:22 states, “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones”. Cultivating joy and gratitude strengthens your body and mind and promotes overall well-being.

6. Receiving the Holy Spirit

Believers are taught that the Holy Spirit residing within them guarantees divine healing and health. Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you“. The indwelling Holy Spirit is seen as a source of supernatural strength and vitality.

7. Stewardship of the body

The body is considered the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and is meant to be honored. This involves making wise and healthy lifestyle choices that promote well-being, such as:

  • Proper diet
  • Rest
  • Exercise.

Some aspects of divine health include:

  1. Physical healing: Restoration of physical health through faith and prayer.
  2. Emotional healing: Inner peace, comfort, and restoration of emotional well-being.
  3. Spiritual healing: Renewal and strengthening of one’s spiritual connection.

Different faith traditions and beliefs approach divine health in various ways. Some may emphasize:

1. Faith healing

2. Prayer for healing

3. Spiritual practices (meditation, fasting)

4. Holistic approaches (integrating physical, emotional, spiritual well-being)

Some people believe that divine health is a promise from God to provide healing and wellness for those who have faith. Others see it as a holistic approach to health, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Some key aspects to consider:

  1. Faith and prayer: Many believe that prayer and faith can lead to healing and wellness.
  2. Spiritual practices: Meditation, fasting, and other spiritual practices can contribute to overall well-being.
  3. Community support: Support from a faith community can provide emotional and spiritual support.

Others may view divine health through the lens of:

  1. Mind-body connection: The connection between mental and physical health.
  2. Holistic health: Integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

The Principles of Divine Healing:

You are to boldly affirm His word. Boldly proclaim God’s Word over your life, reinforce His promises and align your heart with His will. Say, “By His stripes, I am healed to” (Isaiah 53:5). Consistently speaking God’s Words reinforces your trust in Him and paves the way for healing.

Verses on “divine health” often point to God as the source of healing and wholeness, with examples including Exodus 15:26 where God declares, “I am the Lord, your healer“, and Isaiah 53:5 which states, “by his wounds you are healed“. Other verses emphasize faith, prayer, and obeying God as paths to health, such as Proverbs 4:20-22 stating that God’s words are “life, and health to all your flesh”, and James 5:16 highlighting the power of prayer for healing.

Here are some key Bible verses related to divine health:

God as Healer:

Exodus 15:26: “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes… I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you”.

Psalm 103:3: “…who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases”.

Healing Through Christ:

Isaiah 53:5 (also cited in 1 Peter 2:24): “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds you are healed”.

Faith and Obedience:

Proverbs 4:20-22: “My son, pay attention to my words, incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh”.

James 5:16: “…The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective”

God’s Promises of Restoration:

Jeremiah 30:17: “‘For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal,’ declares the LORD“.

Prayers for Healing:

Psalm 6:2Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are shaken“.

Jeremiah 17:14Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are the one I praise”.

Conclusion

In summary, divine health is a holistic concept of well-being centered on faith-based healing and harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. It complements the pursuit of physical health with spiritual devotion to attain alignment across all aspects of one’s being. For religious individuals, divine health marks the fulfillment of God’s promises of blessing and restoration.

Healing through prayer, lifestyle stewardship, and grace cultivated through scripture and worship allows maintaining peak health of a sanctified spirit in an earthly vessel. Though not mandatory for redemption, divine health principles allow believers to find wholeness and engage in righteous living. By exploring its biblical basis and integrating its practices, people of faith can enrich their journey towards spiritual and physical wellness.

CONSECRATION

Introduction
The word “consecration” according to Webster Merriam Dictionary is an act of ceremonial sanctification or a state of being consecrated and the word “ Sanctification” is one of its’ synonym.
Biblically, consecration means to be set apart, separated and made hallowed for holy use. It could also be described as the act of keeping oneself from unholy, unrighteous and unclean acts for the purpose of being used by God; the purpose of consecration is to make us holy and fit for God’s service.
In the Old Testament, God demanded from His people –
the Israelites, the Priests and Levites , who He intended would serve as His minister, that they should consecrate themselves before they could minister to Him ( Please read Exodus 19: 1-6 … “and ye shall be a kingdom of Priests, and an holy nation. These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites”). Furthermore, we also have instances in the bible where definite steps were taken by individual to stand out for God and refused to be defiled as the case was with Daniel in Daniel 1:8
In the same vein, in this dispensation of grace, through our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s standard has not changed and will never change for anyone who is a Christian /disciple and also enlisted to minister in His vineyard. Read 1 Peter 2:9 “believers” are being referred to as a “Royal Priesthood”. Considering the fact that every believer renders service to God one way or the other, the service MUST be offered from a human vessel that has been consecrated/sanctified.
Let me mention here that the word “consecration” and “sanctification” are used interchangeably in the Holy Scriptures to mean the same thing. In Leviticus 20: 7 God said to His people, ”Sanctify yourself therefore and be ye holy, for I am the LORD your God”. Sanctification makes us to become holy in the sight of God.
In the light of the above, consecration can be both external and internal. In the Old Testament, there were emphasis on external sanctification through ceremonial cleansing for anyone who intends to enter into the presence of the LORD and especially for Priests and men who were used by God for one purpose or the other. The bible says that everything we read in the Old Testament is a shadow of things to come. For example, in Exodus chapter 28:3 God instructed Moses saying“And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garment to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office …”. In this case, sanctification was achieved through the special garment woreThey were also to be consecrated by the pouring of the anointing oil, eating of consecrated food and keeping of other laws Exodus 28:41 and 29:9, 29 & 33
However, in the New Testament and dispensation of grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is more of the internal or inner consecration which is of the heart, in other words, it starts from inside to outside. Our Lord Jesus Christ explained to his disciple “But the things that proceed from a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile themMatthew 15:18. Example of these things was mentioned in Galatians 2:20 & Ephesians 5:29idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition etc.; unwholesome talk, bitterness, rage, brawling, and slander
Examples of instances where God demanded consecration
1) Samson and Samuel- Judges 13:2-5… And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her (Samson’s Mother), Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shall conceive, and bear a son, 4) now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing; … and he (Samson) shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines
2) Moses demanded that the Levites should consecrate themselves as instructed by God in Exodus 32:29. There is also a blessing attached to obedience to the instruction on consecration.
Consecration in the Dispensation of Grace through our Lord Jesus Christ
Read the following scriptures:
Matthew 15:11-18 “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man”…, (KJV)
Romans 13:14But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (The Messiah), and make no provisions for (indulging) the flesh (put a stop to thinking about the evil craving …)

Steps to Experience Genuine Consecration
1) The new birth experience of being born again is the very first crucial step to enter into consecration because a new heart is given unto us at this point. Consecration would only be possible when a new heart that loves to please God is in place; otherwise, it would be through human effort devoid of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please read Ezekiel 36:26 a new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you…” Ezekiel 11:19 and John 3:16;
2) Put to death the old man that has been crucified and purge yourselves from the works of the sinful nature to become a vessel fit for the Master’s useful vessels, Galatians 2:20, 2 Timothy 2:20;
3) Separation from the world and its ways of doing things, 2 Corinthians 6:17 wherefore (I)come out from among them , and (ii) touch not the unclean thing , and I will receive you”; Sanctification precedes acceptance by God
4) Renewal of our mind through consistent fellowship with the word of God, Romans 12-1-2, Ephesians 5:26, 1 John 1: 1-3;
5) Being filled with the Holy Spirit Ephesians 5:18, Acts 9:17: The more we submit to the Holy Spirit, the more of Jesus we become.
6) Obedience to God’s commandments is key to consecration by any human vessel whom God would use.
7) Possess your body in holiness/ Exercise Self-Control” 1 Thessalonians 4:4
Consequences of rendering service without consecration
Whatever service is rendered unto God from a life that is not consistently consecrated or sanctified is unacceptable and making heaven is bleak. 2 Corinthians 6:17
Conclusion: Considering the above scriptures, whatever category you belong to in the mandate of this Mission (FeedingAllNations Through Jesus Christ); a widow, orphan and less privileged, friend of the Commission , a believer and Minister in His vineyard, consecration of your life is not negotiable to go far with the LORD ALMIGHTY.

Shalom!!

TEACHING SERIES
FOCUS: HOLY SPIRIT

Our Focus for the month of July 2025 is The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is a person, not a thing, feeling or emotion. That is why Jesus Christ used the word HE when he was making reference to the Holy Spirit.

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me”
John 15:26

The Holy Spirit is the third person of The Trinity, that does not mean He is less important. The Holy Ghost is referred to as the engine room of God.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
1 John 5:7

The Holy Spirit is a teacher, He gives us direction, He leads us into all truth.”
John 16:13

The Mission of The Holy Spirit is a follows:

  1. The Holy Ghost teaches all things.
The Holy Spirit instructs. The Holy Spirit trains and coaches.
The Holy Ghost unveils the scriptures.
    John 14:26
    Isaiah 48:27
    1 John 2:20
    1 John 2:27

This is one of the advantages we have over unbelievers. The Holy Spirit directs and guides the children of God.
  2. The Holy Spirit brings things to our remembrance. The Holy Spirit reminds us of things we read in the Word of God. In our day to day life, the Holy Spirit reminds us of things we need to do.
    John 14:26
  3. The Holy Spirit searches the deep things of the spirit and the deep things of life. The Holy Spirit decodes things. There are some things you are not aware of but the Holy Spirit will reveal them to you. At times, people might wonder how you got an information, the Holy Ghost reveals deep and secret things.
    1 Corinthians 2:9-11
The Holy Ghost can reveal the plan of God for your life to you. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13
  4. The Holy Spirit strengthens us on the inside. The Holy Spirit strengthens us by opening us to the Word of God. When we feed on the Word of God, The Holy Spirit injects the light in the Word of God into us, when the light of God is injected into us, every darkness disappears, we will be free from every affliction and oppression.
    Ephesians 6:10
    Ephesians 3:16
  5. The Holy Ghost empowers us to prevail in prayer. Jude 1:20.
It is the Holy Ghost that motivates, encourages and keeps us in the place of prayer. Galatians 5:17
The flesh does not like to pray, the flesh dislikes spiritual activities.
    Matthew 26:41
The Holy Spirit helps us to conquer the flesh.
Without the Holy Spirit we cannot pray effectively.

THEME: FAITH

Faith is a gift from God that enables us to accept salvation which is also a gift from God. It is the foundation of Christianity. Without faith it is impossible to be born again. And without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6, KJV). Without faith we can not see God.

In the Bible, faith is described as a gift from God that enables us to trust in Him and His Word. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8, KJV). This faith is not just a feeling or an emotion, but a deep-seated confidence in God’s love and power.

Faith is defined by the bible as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1, KJV). Faith helps us to believe things before they come to pass. We have not seen heaven yet we believe it exists and we will be there.

Through faith, we are able to please God and receive the promises He has made to us.Faith is trusting in God’s goodness and sovereignty. It is about believing that He is working all things together for our good, even when we cannot see or understand what is happening. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28, KJV).

ATTRIBUTES OF FAITH:

  1. Faith is a Powerful force
Faith has the power to move mountains, overcome obstacles, and bring about miracles. “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20, KJV).
  2. Faith is a Trusting force:
Faith involves trusting in God’s plan, even when we don’t understand it. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 55:8, KJV). We can trust that God’s plan is for our good and His glory.
  3. Faith is a Persevering force:
Faith helps to persevere especially in times of trial. “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him” (James 1:12, KJV).
4: Faith is a Working force:
Faith is about acting on what we believe. “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?” (James 2:14, KJV). Our works demonstrate our faith and show others the love of God.

HOW TO PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK

  1. Be born again
  2. Belief in God’s Word and promises.
3 .Obey and follow God’s will.
  3. Pray for faith increase “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith” (Luke 17:5, KJV).
  4. Read and meditate on God’s Word. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:176. Surround yourself with supportive believers.
  5. Trust in God’s sovereignty: Trust that God is in control and working all things together for your good
  6. Take action: Step out in faith, taking practical steps towards your goals and dreams. “Faith without works is dead.” James 2:26
  7. Persevere through challenges: Trust God to see you through difficult times.”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5

BENEFITS OF FAITH

  1. Peace: Faith brings peace in the midst of uncertainty and turmoil.
  2. Hope: Faith gives us hope for a better future.
  3. Guidance: Faith helps us navigate life’s challenges.
4: Closer relationship with God: Faith helps us develop a deeper connection with God.
5: Wisdom: Faith helps us seek God’s guidance and wisdom.
  4. Hope and optimism: Faith gives us hope and optimism for the future.
  5. Courage and confidence: Faith helps us face challenges with courage and confidence.
  6. Better decision-making: Faith helps us make decisions that align with God’s will.
  7. Resilience and perseverance: Faith gives us the strength to overcome obstacles.
  8. Purpose and direction: Faith helps us discover our purpose and direction in life.
  9. Salvation: Faith in Jesus Christ leads to salvation and eternal life.
  10. Eternal hope:: Faith gives us hope for a better future in eternity.
  11. God’s presence: Faith allows us to experience God’s presence and joy in eternity.

CHALLENGES TO FAITH

  1. Doubt: Doubts can creep in, testing our faith.
  2. Fear: Fears can undermine our faith.
  3. Uncertainty: Uncertainty can challenge our faith.

We the Children of God are encouraged to even have faith like a mustard seed, which is small but can grow into a large tree. “Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20, KJV)

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF EXPLOITS OF FAITH

  1. Abraham trusted God’s promise of a son, despite his old age (Genesis 15:1-6).
  2. David’s courage: David trusted God’s power and protection, facing Goliath with courage (1 Samuel 17:45-47).
  3. The woman with the issue of blood: She trusted Jesus’ power to heal her, touching His cloak (Mark 5:25-34).

CONCLUSION

Through faith we believe that God is the Rock, the Savior, and Redeemer. Through faith, we can trust in Him, receive His promises, and live a life that is pleasing to Him. May we all strive to have a strong faith that enables us to overcome challenges and achieve great things for God’s glory.

EL SHADDAI HERITAGE APRIL 2024 EDITION

You are welcome to the April 2024 edition of El Shaddai Heritage!

I believe the peace of God has taken over your souls, and your hope is in God alone, who can not mismanage your life.

God, in His infinite mercy, has kept you and your family from January up till now. You have every reason to give Him thanks. The God that kept you up till now will keep your standing till the end of this year.

Praise the Lord!

Our prophetic focus for the month of April 2024 is LOVE.

Our text is taken from Roman Chapter 5 Verses 5

“…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

God created man in His image and after His likeness. God gave man the capacity to be like Him through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God made the grace to be like Him available to man.

…” My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

Once you get born again, you are translated into the kingdom of light, you are endowed with the ability to love, you starts seeing people differently, you discover you can extend love to your worst enemy.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 16, the Bible says:

“… we have the mind of Christ.”

Anger, bitterness, and malice become a thing of the past because the Bible says:

“I am in them, and you are in me.”
John 17:23

The Holy Spirit takes over your life, He leads you, He directs you. You will discover that if you obey the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit, no matter how foolish and unrealistic they sound, it will always end in your favor.
In Psalms 36 verse 9, the Bible says:

‘…in thy light shall we see light.’

In 1 John 5:19, the Bible says
…”the whole world lieth in wickedness.”

Wickedness connotes darkness.

When you are in Jesus Christ, when you walk with the Holy Spirit, the light of God will shine upon your way because God is light.
Not only that, juicy opportunities will be made available to you because the Bible says in James chapter 1 verses 17, every good and perfect gift comes from God.
Moreover, evil will be far from you, and you will not fall into the pit of life.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 4:8

“…love covers a multitude of sins.”

When you allow God to take over your heart, irrespective of the magnitude of wrong done to you, the love of God in your heart will swallow it up just like death is swallowed up in victory. Anger and bitterness will no longer be able to have a hold on you. These evil personalities will no longer be able to manifest through you because they are in darkness and you dwell in light.

When you walk in love, the kingdom of God becomes your priority.
When you walk in love with Jesus, your greatest desire will be how to get people, your neighbors, delivered from the clutches of satan, which includes salvation.
You will look for every opportunity to tell them about the love of God.

John chapter 21 verse 17 Jesus Christ asked Peter 3 times,
“Do you love me?”

When Peter replied “Yes”
Jesus Christ told him to feed His sheep.

Every believer has a duty and a responsibility to disseminate the love of God.
When you love your neighbor with the love of Jesus Christ, which is unconditional, you are revealing the nature of God to them, thereby endearing them to God.

“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”
1 John 3:15-17

If you truly and genuiely have the love of God in you, no price will be too high to pay to win your brothers and sisters, including your neighbors, to Jesus. Unforgiveness will not be named with you.

You will be compelled to share the little you have with your brothers and sisters, knowing that God is your provider and that you will not lack any good thing. Psalms 37:25

I pray that the grace to keep walking in love will come upon you today in the name of Jesus.

SHALOM! SHALOM! SHALOM!

EL SHADDAI HERITAGE – MARCH 2024 EDITION

You are welcome to the March 2024 edition of El Shaddai Heritage.

I believe we all enjoyed and waxed in the joy of the Lord all through February 2024.

Our prophetic Focus for the month of March 2024 is PEACE!

Our anchor scripture is taken from Isaiah chapter 26 verse 3 and John chapter 14 verse 27

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

In the world, there is a general belief that peace is the absence of conflict, rancor, and misunderstanding.

However, the peace that God gives His people is totally different from the world conception of peace.

Biblical peace goes beyond lack of conflict. It’s a state of rest, a state of completeness, and wholeness.

God’s kind of peace is a state of right relationship with God.
When you serve the Lord according to the dictate of His Word, you will experience the peace of God in your spirit and soul, that, will in turn reflect in your outward appearance which is your body.

In Ephesians Chapter 2 verses 14-19, we are told that Jesus Christ is our Peace.

…For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;…

You can also read from verse 13 for better understanding.

When Jesus Christ rules and reigns in your heart, you no longer perceive the world the way the people of the world do. Your disposition to the world and the things of the world will reflect the love of God.

It will be easier for you to sow love where there is hatred when your neighbor offends you, it will be easy to forgive them, it will be easier to share the little you have with your neighbor, when you see something that will be beneficial to your neighbor, you don’t hide it.
You will be able to replace discord with harmony.

Peace is not in the future. It is not something you hope and expect to achieve someday.
The peace of God is being poured out to us every day. Irrespective of how bad and difficult your situation may be, the love of Jesus is still being released in your direction.

As believers in Christ, our lives are eternal. The devil and his kingdom do not have the final say over our lives.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”
Colossians 1:20

The peace that God gives to This people is not man made.

Peace is a fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22

Jesus Christ is the source of our peace.
Romans 5:1
When it appears nothing is working, if your salvation is intact, you will not lose your peace.

Once you hold unto Jesus trusting that He can not mismanage your life, your peace will be intact, the presence of God around you will be unshakable. Once, the presence of God in your life in unhampered, you can be sure that the enemy will not prevail, you can be sure of restoration, you can be sure of God’s favour and abundant supply.

Of the increase of his government and peace, there shall be no end…
Isaiah 9:7

We need to understand that we do not belong to this world. We are ambassadors of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Our lives are being controlled by the kingdom of God. In the kingdom of God, peace is unlimited, and peace is unrestricted.
When we believe and move around with this mentality, we will discover that indeed, all things are possible.
Luke 1:37

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls…

Matthew 11:28-29

God wants us to have peace in 3 major arrears of our lives:

  1. Peace With The Lord.
Jesus Christ is our peace. Romans 5:1
When you were dead in your sin, Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died for you on the cross, and reconciled you with the Father. No man can enjoy real peace, unless he is truly born again. Without connecting to Christ, you can not get to God. When you reconcile with God, you will be able to fellowship with Him. Ephesians 2:14, Romans 5:10, 1 John 1:3
  2. Peace With Your Neighbor.
It is through Jesus Christ that you are truly able to be at peace with your neighbor. It is Jesus Christ that brings you together and connects you with your Christian neighbors for fellowship.
God empowers you to be peacemakers, to be at peace with your friends and even those who hate you. Colossians 1:19-20
    1 John 1:9, Ephesians 4:3
  3. Peace With Ourselves.
Through Jesus Christ, you become a new creation. Through Jesus Christ, you are made whole and complete in God. When you face trials and tribulations, Jesus Christ, your peace on the inside keeps you together. Jesus Christ is your peace.
    Philippians 1:6, 1 Thessalonians 5: 23-24.

Except you are truly born again, you can not experience the peace of God. John 16:33

Praise The Lord.

I pray that the peace of God that passes all understanding will continue to keep your spirit, soul, and body in the name of Jesus.

SHALOM! SHALOM! SHALOM!

EL SHADDAI HERITAGE DECEMBER 2023

You are welcome to the December 2023 edition of El Shaddai Heritage.

Our focus for December 2023 is PRAISE.

“Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.” Psalms 149:3

The Lord has been so good and faithful! Irrespective of what you went through in the year, The Lord kept you and preserved your life. The Bible says in Job chapter 14 verses 7-9
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water, it will bud and bring forth boughs like a plant.

Listen, the devil does not have the final say over your life. The enemy can not succeed against you, and the devil can not prevail against you as long as you stay connected to Jesus Christ.

Your situation might look very bad now, you might feel very low, and you might even feel you are on the floor.

The Bible says in Psalms 124 verses 1 to 8

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side when men rose against us:

Then they had swallowed us up quickly when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, and the stream had gone over our soul: Then, the proud waters had gone over our souls. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”

The Lord fought a lot of battles for you that you are not aware of.
The enemy wanted you maimed, the enemy wanted you incapacitated, the enemy wanted you dead, but God frustrated the plan of your enemies.

At this end of the year, given your previous and current negative situation, it might not sound logical to you that God has been good, that God has been there for you, but remember as a child of God, your emotion does not control you, you are expected to be controlled by the Word of God. The Lord loves you, and He has not failed you, He has not abandoned you.
Let the enemy throw his best shot, you will still be here standing on your feet because you have the life of God in you, because you are more than a conqueror, because the enemy does not decide your life!
Hallelujah!

You need to give God thanks for many reasons, and God is expecting to hear that thanksgiving from your lips. Hallelujah!

We give God Thanks For some of the reasons listed below

God expects you to give Him thanks because it is a command.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Malachi 2:2

God commands us to praise Him for the blessings He bestows on us.

John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it is given him from heaven.
John 3:27

Every good thing you enjoy in life is from God. Be it your sleep, the good sleep you enjoy, the breath of your nostrils, the flexibility of your body, you can easily move from one place to the other without assistance, and many more things you enjoy.

You might think unbelievers also enjoy all of that…Yes, that is the nature of God, the Father. In Matthew chapter 5 verse 45, the Bible says

“…for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

But the Bible says in Psalms 16 verse 4

Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god:…

Irrespective of what you went through this year, you are still better off than an unbeliever.

Secondly, when we give thanks to God, our blessings are preserved.

In Malachi chapter 2 verse 2 that we referenced above, the Lord said if you fail to give Him thanks, He will curse your blessings. That same blessing you have now that you feel is not enough is going to disappear, God says He will curse the good things, the things that give you joy if you fail to appreciate His goodness in your life.

Thirdly, Thanksgiving enables God to give us more blessing

In Luke chapter 17, verse 17, when only one leper came back to give thanks.
Jesus said,

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?”
When the leper came back to give Jesus thanks, he got an extra blessing, Jesus Christ made him whole! He never had to think of that sickness again. He was free and free forever.

We must be aware that God hates murmuring. The Bible says so many Israelites were destroyed because they murmured against God.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
1 Corinthians 10:10

The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

It doesn’t matter what your situation is, God has not failed you, the challenge here is that you can not see the whole picture, if only you can see the whole picture, you will surely give God thanks.

I pray that the Lord will give you the grace to keep standing firm and strong in Him in Jesus’ name!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

OUTREACH TO THE WIDOWS

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for all you have done for me since January till now, I thank you for all you are doing through Feeding All Nation Through Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 54:17

Prayer 3
Father, in the name of Jesus, I command every attack of the wicked against the growth and expansion of Feeding All Nation Through Jesus Christ to be destroyed by fire.

Job 5:12

TEACHING SERIES
FOCUS: WISDOM OF GOD

Wisdom can be said to be knowing the will of God and doing the will of God.
Wisdom can also be defined as obeying the Word of God.
Wisdom can also be defined as following the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit.

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.
I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee
.”
Exodus 23:25-27

The Wisdom of God can be acquired through diverse means.

We can choose to obey God in one thing and reap the benefit of that obedience in every area of our lives.
God commands us to serve Him and He will take care of everything that concerns us from divine protection to healings, to breakthroughs, to fruitfulness, to prosperity, to provision…with only one thing, we can get everything we need in life.
Praise the Lord!

How Do We Acquire Wisdom

There are so many ways through which we can acquire the wisdom of God.

  1. Fear and reverence for God.
Fear here does not connote negativity but a feeling of awe, reverence, honor, and admiration for God.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
Proverbs 9:10

  1. Hunger for Wisdom.
When you genuinely hunger for wisdom, the Lord will give you wisdom.

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 2:3-5

  1. Prayer of Faith
Another way of acquiring wisdom is by praying.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1:5-6

  1. The Word of God.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God, He is also the wisdom of God. The more we study the Word of God, the more wise we become.

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1 Corinthians 1:24
