God has been so good to us and our family since January 2022, if there is anything you are asking The Lord for that has not manifested, it’s only a matter of time, it will surely come to pass! You will surely give testimony concerning that matter in the name of Jesus.
Praise The Lord!

Our Focus for the month of November 2022 is Wisdom

We thank God Almighty for yet another privilege to be among the living. We also thank God for his guidance and protection over our lives and properties and the success of our outreaches.

Wisdom is an element of personal character that enables one to distinguish the wise from the unwise. Wisdom was granted unto us by the Holy Spirit in other to guide us on how to go about our daily activities and also to differentiate wise and unwise decisions.

TOPIC: The Power of Wisdom

1. The Power of Wisdom Is the Spirit of Solution Provision
There is a need for us to pursue wisdom. The secret of being and remaining a global solution is to keep pursuing because as you advance in wisdom, you will soon find that there are no money problems, only wisdom problems. Once you gather the appropriate wisdom, you become a solution provider that anyone will be willing to seek.
Gen. 41: 33 – “Now, therefore, let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.”
Because Joseph was a man filled with the wisdom of God with a solution to Pharaoh’s dream problem, he became a national and global solution.
Solomon walked in wisdom and could provide solutions and judge even the hardest of problems. I Kings 3: 16-28 is a showcase of this divine wisdom.

2. The Power of Wisdom Makes You A Leader
Deuteronomy 34:9 – “And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands on him: and the children of Israel listened to him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.”
Joshua could succeed Moses and lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land because he was full of wisdom. Leadership is established where there is wisdom.

3. The Power of Wisdom Is the Spirit That Produces Skill, Expertise, and Excellence
Wisdom came on Bezaleel and he became skilled.
Exodus 31: 1-5 – “See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.”

4. The Power of Wisdom Is the Spirit of Conquest in Battles and Conflicts.
A man that operates in wisdom walks in cheap conquests over the battle of life – victory comes cheaply to him because he plans wisely before he heads into any battle.
Where there is foolishness, there is loss of battle.
1 Kings 5:4
– “But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side so that there is neither adversary nor evil result.”
I prophesy that, may you enjoy rest roundabout! No adversary, no disaster in your life! In JESUS Name
By wisdom, you get peace, by foolishness you steer war.

5. The Power of Wisdom Is the Spirit of the Knowledge of God
Where there is wisdom, you have access to two sides of knowledge about God – knowledge of who God is and the knowledge of the workings and principles of God.
Note. It takes understanding to become outstanding. Seek wisdom in all that you do!

6. It Makes You an Anointed Thinker.
Divine wisdom gives you the capacity to think beyond science and physical, and think like God!

7. Wisdom Gives You Capacity for Right Choices.
You make the right decisions about your time, association, health, spending, habits, communication, and other things that need planning in your life.

8. It is gainful and profitable.
Ecclesiastes. 10:10 – “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”
Wisdom gives you an edge over others.
Proverbs. 8: 14 – “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.”

9. It makes you outstanding.
It takes understanding to become outstanding. Seek wisdom in all that you do!
10. A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)
Soft or gentle answers will bring an atmosphere of calmness. Example: If I’m yelled at, my tendency is to yell back. Emotions and blood pressures elevate or decrease depending on the climate set.
We are Spiritually fruitful people; therefore we should be Spiritual climate changers.
Scriptural example in Judges 8:1-3 reading about how Gideon Subdues the Midianites

11. Wisdom is so powerful that death says it doesn’t know the way to her house.
Do you know what that means? It means when Wisdom is in operation, there can be no death. _Job 28:22 – death and destruction only heard about the exploits of wisdom, they cannot find it out.
Wisdom makes prudence available Proverbs 8:12. Prudence is different from stinginess.
Prudence enables us to make wise investment decisions. You don’t put your money in a business that will go down tomorrow. There is something strange about Wisdom that allows you to know.

12. Wisdom will produce for us true riches and honour Proverbs 8:18-21.

No wonder Solomon was very Wise and Wealthy. Both of them go together. Wisdom produces riches. When the Queen of Sheba came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, she came with gold worth billions of naira. Solomon’s wealth was a by-product of his wisdom. If you really want to reign financially, then go for wisdom.

13. Wisdom From Above is more precious than gold and jewelry.
The Bible makes it clear that God used wisdom to create the universe. To state and make it simple, it emanates from God; He is the source of it, and anyone who requests for it would have it through faith.
What is sweeter than having the wisdom to discern the most complex situations and live a worthy life?. God does not only give wisdom but understanding and how to be proficient in life. He also gives talents and spiritual gifts. All these glorify’s his magnificent name.

14. Wisdom is more valuable than anything you could ever think of.
Even if you are filthy rich and you lack wisdom, you are not different from a fool. Wisdom brings forth all the qualities needed to live a life worth living. The King said:
“Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no intention of acquiring wisdom?”
( Proverbs 17:16 ).
The book of Proverbs chapter 8 personified wisdom as a woman standing in a public place crying out! for everyone to know about how powerful and precious ‘she’ is. In wisdom, God created the universe.
From the verses that followed. We are taught about:
♦. The fame and evidence of wisdom
♦. Her excellency;
♦. Nature
♦. Power
♦. Riches
♦. Eternity
If you, therefore, desire all these amazing gifts hidden inside wisdom; then call on the creator. He will increase your knowledge, teach you his ways, and take you through all the difficulties in life without making you a failure. In times of confusion, ask God to give you the knowledge to handle that situation.

15. And the Spirit of the lord shall rest upon him, Isaiah 11:2
The words throw us at once back upon the memories of the past, and forwards upon the hopes of the future .it was the ” spirit of the lord” that had made men true heroes and judges in the days of old(judges 11:29) it was in the ” spirit of the lord” descending on Jesus of Nazareth and abiding on Him.
16. God gave Solomon great wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is in the sea shore,1 Kings 4:29
In this passage ” understanding”, which is high intellectual power, and ” largeness of heart”, which is the clear capacity of knowledge, boundless as” the sand on the sea shore,”are both distinguished from the higher gift of wisdom, to which they are but means the one being the capacity of wisdom within, the other the education of that capacity from without wisdom.

17. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5
God gives generously to us when we ask for things that are good, right, and in His will. Even if we have failed or sinned, and are now coming to God asking for repentance and guidance, He is thrilled to help us. He offers His wisdom without finding fault it doesn’t matter where we’ve been as much as where we’re going with God. He doesn’t hold us hostage to our past mistakes; He gives abundantly, happily, willingly, and without a judgment of fault or worthiness.

18. listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end, you will be counted among the wise. Proverbs 19:20
One of the first marks of wisdom is the readiness to receive more wisdom. A teachable person, one who will listen to counsel and receive instruction, has already made much progress on the path of wisdom. The bad effects of the foolish rejection of wisdom may not be seen for many years. Yet in the latter days of a manor woman’s life, it will be clear whether they learned wisdom lessons and if they did listen to counsel. If you want to be wise later in life, start now.

19. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7
The use of “fear” in this context, is not meant to imply a sense of horror, despair, or fright. it is a strong term, for sure. Here, it points more towards a sense of extreme respect. This is the sense in which mature adults “fear” things like fire, knives, or chemicals. it’s not panic and terror but does come with a suggestion of consequences. According to the Bible, true knowledge cannot exist without a reverent “fear” of God

20. But the wisdom that come from heaven is first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and James 3:17
James has been describing the so called wisdom of the world. It’s not pretty. Typical human philosophy is driven by envy and selfish ambition, and the result is all the disorder and evil we see in the world. Putting ourselves ahead of all others means creating billions of contradictory goals, and making excuses for hurting other people in order to get what we want.

21. For the Lord grants wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6
Solomon reminded the reader to prioritize the fear of the Lord. Now he reminds us that the only true source of knowledge, Wisdom, and understanding is the Lord Himself. if God is the storehouse of these wondrous gifts, and we have been encouraged to seek after them like great treasure, how can we obtain them? Here, the answer is simple: by seeking them from God.

22. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding. To Him, they belong. Psalm 111:10
The psalmist is telling us that true Wisdom begins with fear, meaning reverence for God; respect for His law and commandments, and the fear of offending our creator. He who fears (respects) the Lord departs from evil; because he who lives in sin neither fears God nor is wise. True wisdom comes only from understanding who God is and that He is holy and righteous. The Biblical fear of God, for the believer, includes understanding how much God hates sin and fearing His judgment of sin.

23. When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2
The proud man or woman fears to shame. Ironically, they cultivate shame and disgrace for themselves. One significant reason for this is that God resists the proud. There is great wisdom in humility because it recognizes the truth about God and the truth about self, especially in relation to others. This humility is an important foundation for true Wisdom.

24. Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding. Proverbs 3:13
Solomon describes wisdom and understanding in proverbs but does not explicitly supply definitions. As used across the text, however, wisdom is the ability to act according to accurate knowledge. Understanding, in proverbs, is insight or intelligence the ability to know something well enough to pass it’s value along to others. The acquisition of both wisdom and understanding produces happiness. Believers find life’s greatest happiness in knowing and doing God’s will and having the insight to determine how they should respond to a godless culture.

25. Buy the truth, and sell it not; also to wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. Proverbs 23:23
Buy the truth; purchase it upon any terms, spare no pains nor cost to get it. The truth; is the true and saving knowledge of God’s mind and will concerning your salvation, and the way that leads to it.
Sell it not; do not forget it not forsake it for any worldly advantages, as ungodly men frequently do.
Understanding; whereby you may love and practice the truth known and received.

26. whosoever loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance. Proverbs 29:3
Children can make or break parents. A son loving wisdom brings great joy to his parents. A foolish son befriending whores grieves their hearts, as they watch ruinous lifestyle. This proverb should demand your attention. There is much more here than just observation by Solomon. There is a lesson and warning for both parents and children. Parents should fear this painful disappointment and great waste of their lives.

27. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it costs all you have, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7
The first rule of wisdom is to always seek more wisdom. people set goals and work hard to reach them. Some spend great effort to get rich, some search hard for happiness. All these objectives fade in comparison to the value of acquiring wisdom and insight. The words Solomon relates here are those he once heard from his father, David (Proverbs 4:3). David challenged his son to get wisdom and insight.

The ability to know and apply God’s gifted wisdom shall be our portion in Jesus’ name Amen.
Shalom.
