You are welcome to the March 2021 edition of El Shaddai Heritage.
I believe we all enjoyed and waxed in the joy of The Lord all through the month of March 2021.
Our prophetic Focus for the month of March 2021 is PEACE!
Our anchor scripture is taken from Isaiah chapter 26 verses 3 and John chapter 14 verses 27
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.“
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
In the world, there is a general belief that peace is the absence of conflict, rancor and misunderstanding.
However, the peace that God gives His people is totally different from the world conception of peace.
Biblical peace goes beyond lack of conflict, it’s a state of rest, a state of completeness and wholeness.
God’s kind of peace is a state of right relationship with God.
When you serve the Lord according to the dictate of His Word, you will experience the peace of God in your spirit and soul, that, will in turn reflect in your outward appearance which is your body.
In Ephesians Chapter 2 verses 14-19, we are told that Jesus Christ is our Peace.
“…For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;…
You can also read from verse 13 for better understanding.
When Jesus Christ rules and reign in your heart, you no longer perceive the world the way the people of the world do. Your disposition to the world and the things of the world will reflect the love of God.
It will be easier for you to sow love where there is hatred, when your neighbor offends you, it will be easy to forgive them, it will be easier to share the little you have with your neighbor, when you see something that will be beneficial to your neighbor, you don’t hide it.
You will be able to replace discord with harmony.
Peace is not in the future, it is not something you hope and expect to achieve someday.
The peace of God is being poured out to us everyday. Irrespective of how bad and difficult your situations maybe, the love of Jesus is still being released in your direction.
As believers in Christ, our lives are eternal. The devil and his kingdom do not have the final say over our lives.
“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.“
The peace that God gives to This people is not man made.
Peace is a fruit of the Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the source of our peace.
When it appears nothing is working, if your salvation is intact, you will not lose your peace.
Once, you hold unto Jesus trusting that He can not mismanage your life, your peace will be intact, the presence of God around you will be unshakable. Once, the presence of God in your life in unhampered, you can be sure that the enemy will not prevail, you can be sure of restoration, you can be sure of God’s favour and abundant supply.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end…“
It is important for us to understand that we do not belong to this world. We are ambassadors of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Our lives are being controlled by the kingdom of God. In the kingdom of God, peace is unlimited, peace is unrestricted.
When we believe and move around with this mentality, we will discover that indeed all things are possible.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls…”
God wants us to have peace in 3 major arrears of our lives:
- Peace With The Lord.
Jesus Christ is our peace. Romans 5:1
When you were dead in your sin, Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died for you on the cross and reconciled you with the Father. No man can enjoy real peace except he is truly born again. Without connecting to Christ, you can not get to God. When you reconcile with God, you will be able to fellowship with Him. Ephesians 2:14, Romans 5:10, 1 John 1:3
- Peace With Your Neighbor.
It is through Jesus Christ that you are truly able to be at peace with your neighbor. It is Jesus Christ that brings you together and connects you with your christian neighbors for fellowship.
God empowers you to be peacemakers, to be at peace with your friends and even those who hate you. Colossians 1:19-20
1 John 1:9, Ephesians 4:3
- Peace With Ourselves.
Through Jesus Christ you become a new creation. Through Jesus Christ, you are made whole and complete in God. When you face trials and tribulations, Jesus Christ your peace on the inside keeps you together. Jesus Christ is your peace.
Philippians 1:6, 1 Thessalonians 5: 23-24.
Except you are truly born again, you can not experience the peace of God. John 16:33
Praise The Lord.
I pray, the peace of God that passes all understanding will continue to keep your spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus.
SHALOM! SHALOM! SHALOM!
